Story height is the only multiplier anyone publishes

Clean Pro publishes its ladder premium as a percentage: two story adds 25 percent, three story adds 50 percent, tied to rooflines of 16 to 24 feet and above 24 feet. Window Genie publishes it in dollars, an extra $75 to $200 on a three story home, and names the reason: a 40 foot ladder, or a second worker.

The minimum decides the small jobs

Clean Pro posts a $215 minimum and names the reason: mobilization, insurance and equipment. Clean Pro puts the line at 125 linear feet: below that, the drive sets the price, not the footage.

The wage floor under one visit

The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes no gutter cleaning occupation. The May 2025 OEWS national file carries 1,401 rows and none is gutter or window cleaning, so every wage quoted here is a stand in. Clean Pro names its own: code 37-3011. Three codes a crew can honestly sit under:

Reading both sources together turns up one more thing.
