"Just had to wait to speak to a worker. It seems there are never enough workers and it can take a while to be seen. Would be better if there was something on the tv not just information about benefits, and the wonderful music."

"The waiting is terrible and they close too early and most people that work there take several breaks while people are waiting to get their problems solved. They have 13 windows for service and only one of two of them are opened and helping people. The call service is terrible and you have to wait almost an hour to talk to a living person not and automated system. I wish they had an option where we could choose less than one star rating that is how much I hate dealing with this place. I also called them within business hours to resolve an issue with my EBT money not being put on my card once again (this has happened many times in the past). I called them at 2:20 pm an actual person answered at 3:30pm I explained the problem and before they fixed it or even attempted to reimburse me for the money they failed to put on my card, the person said “you’ll have to call us tomorrow we are closing†and hung up the phone."

"The hours are ridiculous for anyone who is working. They are only open 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday, accept for Wednesday's which is only 9am to 12pm."

"Well, let's see my step daughter got her check shut off bcuz she turned 18 and they assumed she wasn't in school, yep assumed!!! No paperwork was sent to verify her being in school which national hotline tells you that they are suppose to. Then they sent her the wrong form to verify that she is in fact a student always has been, then it took over a week to 'get it in the mail' when she dropped it in p.o right next door to them, then when she called asking if she could get her check she had due, they said oh sorry 30 days minimum but if you RESEARCH it, there is a critical payment guidelines and she meets them, funny they never mentioned this to her. Maybe bcuz she's 18 and figured she didn't know any better or something but it's a great way to decieve a young adult who has her own rent, bills to pay!! Way to go Social sec. Waterville, best advice.Maybe if they fix this and follow their own protocols set forth in Social security Protocols ill change my rating but make sure you do your research people, they aren't following the rules!!!!"
