Account Help: I lost my receipts or data – how do I recover my account?

If you’re seeing a fresh account or missing receipts, don’t panic! Your data is likely still safe. Here’s how to recover it:

Most common cause:

You may have accidentally created a new account instead of logging into your existing one. This can happen if you entered a different phone number or email.

To recover your account:

  1. Log out of the current account (Settings → Log Out)
  2. Log back in using your original phone number or email
  3. Your receipts should reappear

Not sure which phone number/email you used?

Contact us at support@simplywise.com with:

  • Any phone numbers or emails you might have used
  • Approximate date you created the account
  • Any receipt details you remember (merchant names, dates)
